We are a Middle Tennessee non-profit organization here to help children in need realize their sports dreams!

Every child should have the opportunity to play the sport they love, with the correct equipment. Here at Brite Star we are dedicated to helping children in need, get the equipment they need.

Our Story.

As a child my dream was to play football. However, I didn't have the proper shoes or equipment to play. Joe Boner was the owner of Brite Star Shell gas station in Smyrna Tennessee. One day while hanging out at Mr. Boner's gas station, I told him that I wanted to play football. He responded, "Why don't you?" I told him that "I didn't have the stuff I needed to play." He simply responded, "If you want to play, I will pay for whatever you need." His generosity is something I will never forget. Here at Brite Star we are aiming to do for others as Mr. Boner did for me that day.
